Food has always been more than just a meal to me—it’s a story, a celebration, a way to bring people together. Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, my love for cooking started early. Saturday mornings were spent glued to PBS cooking shows, fascinated by the artistry of the kitchen. But my real inspiration? That came from home. My grandmother, a true Southern woman from Alabama, had a gift for cooking that went beyond the plate. She poured love into every dish, turning simple ingredients into something magical. As a picky eater, I didn’t always appreciate it then—but looking back, I see that she was teaching me something priceless: a connection to my roots, my culture, and the power of food to nourish both body and soul.

That love for cooking never left me. When I moved out on my own, the kitchen became my sanctuary my creative outlet. No matter where life took me, I always found my way back to food. In 2022, I took a leap of faith, leaving my 9-to-5 to follow my passion full-time and I haven’t looked back since.

With dedication, vision, and hard work, I built Bouji Bites into a thriving catering company known for its bold flavors, soulful energy, and unforgettable dining experiences. Whether serving corporate events or intimate gatherings, my goal is to create more than just meals I create moments that bring people together.
